Roses Are Pink, Your Feet Really Stink by Diane deGroat
Gilbert needs to write Valentine poems for his classmates. It is easy to write ones for the kids he likes, but what about the two he doesn’t like so much? What will he do?

Somebody Loves You, Mr. Hatch by Eileen Spinelli
Mr. Hatch is a quiet lonely man. Then he gets a Valentine and all it says is “Somebody Loves You.” Just knowing somebody loves him makes him happy inside—which then shows on the outside. And pretty soon he isn’t so quiet and not at all lonely.
February 17 – 24
Dear Bunny: A Bunny Love Story by Michaela Morgan
Valentino and Valenteeny admired each other from afar. How will these two shy bunnies ever meet?
& The Ballad of Valentine by Alison Jackson
Set to the tune of “Oh, My Darling Clementine”.
February 24 – March 2
The Giant Hug by Sandra Horning
Love can be shown with cards, candy and kisses, but sometimes a hug is the best. And that is what Owen sends his Granny for her birthday—a GIANT hug. Each postal worker who passes on the hug finds their day just a little bit more pleasant because of it.
